  Health Check Laboratories, Inc. with headquarters in Annandale , MN is operating in three states and poised to grow. With its well-designed, competitive laboratory model, it could become very successful within a short period of time.

Although Matt Fisher is originally from Park Rapids, Minnesota , for a variety of reasons his company is headquartered in Annandale . After doing his academic training, Matt Fisher began his career working as bio-medical engineer in Maryland . Eventually, he came back to Minnesota to work for Abbott/Northwestern. In the mid 1990's he opened his own service business and in 2005 he incorporated Health Check Laboratories and began working out of Annandale .”

The Health Check Laboratories in Annandale is located just off of Highway 55 at 72 Oak Avenue across from the Annandale Advocate. They operate a laboratory there, as well as Wausau , WI , and also are planning one in Colorado Springs , CO , and possibly the Iron Range . In addition to the laboratories, they also operate draw centers, which are staffed by two people who collect samples and send them to the labs. The turn around time for the tests is quick and clients often have the results within two days or less. Sometimes, such as in the case of drug tests the results are know within a few minutes or hours.

Besides local employers, this model is also popular with independent health care clinics, which often do not run their own laboratories. Health Check Laboratories provides fast, efficient service that provides up to 80% of the same tests that the Mayo Clinic provides.
