Highway sign on I-94 promoting business development in Wright County.

     

   

  

The Wright County Economic Development Partnership has successfully negotiated with Franklin Outdoor Sign Company for a highway sign opportunity to market Wright County as a place to do business. The sign is located on I-94 just East of the County Rod #37 access at Albertville . The sign is visible for traffic heading towards Hennepin County .

This advertising promotion will send interested parties to the Wright County Partnership's website, which has multiple sources of information and opportunities to contact either the Partnership or one of its members. This effort is part of the Wright County Partnership's strategy to market opportunities in Wright County to those businesses that might be considering a new site for their business expansion. There are always some business sectors that are growing and expanding. During a years time the Partnership typically assists about a dozen prospective clients in their search for vacant buildings or available industrial park land.

   The Partnership exists to enhance the business climate of Wright County and to help create more jobs in Wright County . The strategies the Partnership uses to achieve its mission include being an information resource and finding technical assistance; aiding business development through Business Retention & Expansion visits, providing financing resources, and providing business information and training through seminars and workshops. Also, the Partnership markets Wright County to business site locators, and maintains an excellent website, which includes a listing of commercial and industrial property available in Wright County (see www.wrightpartnership.org ). The Partnership also assists with Workforce Development and has gathered economic statistical information, which is available on its website.
