Rockford
Manufacturer's honored by Governor Pawlenty.
City
of Rockford held a special manufacturer's event at Shark
Industries in the Millennium Park in Rockford on October
23 rd . The Wright County Economic Development Partnership
Director, Noel LaBine, was also at the event and took pictures.
Special
Certificates honoring manufacturers and signed by Governor
Pawlenty were handed out by Mayor Michael Beyer to several
manufacturers at the event. Recipients of the certificates
included Tony Vertin of Vertech Industries, Ben Sachs of
Minnesota Diversified Products, Inc., Diana Mini of Shark
Industries, Dick Stuckmayer and Megan of Brittany Manufacturing,
Michael Rosenkranz of Mic-A-Matic, Eric Thomsen of Rockford
Granite, Randy of Diversified Remediation Controls, Inc.,
Paul Sampson of Holiday Sales, and Gary Rebischke of Premier
Tool Products, Inc.

The Partnership exists to enhance the business climate of
Wright County and help create more jobs in Wright County
. The strategies the Partnership uses to achieve its mission
include being an information resource and finding technical
assistance; aiding business development through Business
Retention & Expansion visits, providing financing resources,
and providing business information and training through
seminars and workshops. Also, the Partnership markets Wright
County to business site locators, and maintains an excellent
website, which includes a listing of commercial and industrial
property available in Wright County (see www.wrightpartnership.org
). The Partnership also assists with Workforce Development
and has gathered economic statistical information, which
is available on its website.
