High
Tech Firm Finds Perfect Location in Wright County .
Buffalo , MN--
When you imagine
a hole smaller than the diameter of your hair being drilled
into metal tubes and steel discs, and other mediums; then
you are entering the realm that Steve Heisel and Wade Parker
work in.
When you walk into
their workspace you will notice how clean and quiet the
atmosphere is. In the realm of things small, there is an
awesome respect, that requires calm attention. Watching
rotating electrode drills that produce thousands of sparks
per second do their work is not a noisy thing to do.
AURORA has been located
in the Buffalo Industrial Park in one of Jim Di'Orio's buildings.
Heisel and Parker started their company in a Ramsey, MN
location in 1999. Since then, they have both acquired homes
in the Buffalo area, and are happy to be in their present
location since November 2003. They hope to grow their company
here.
In the business of
making small holes that are extremely accurate, Heisel and
Parker are among the best in this part of the world. The
machines that Heisel and Parker use are made by SARIX, a
Swiss company. The technology is electrical discharge machining
that has been refined to the 1000 th degree.
Their clients are
machine shops that serve several industries including automotive,
electrical capacitors for computers, dental device appliances
that give painless shots, medical device, and micro-metal
stamping tools. The machine shops that contract with Aurora
Micro Machine, Inc. service customers such as Boston Scientific
and NASA.

Over 50% of their
clients are from outside Minnesota with many of the jobs
coming from the East Coast, and the South East United States.
Texas and California are next, and occasionally an overseas
customer, such as SAGEM in France requests the help of AURORA
.
If you know of anyone,
who needs extremely accurate, small holes made, please let
them know. They will appreciate it in a quiet way.
